Instructions for authors

Presentation guidelines

Oral presentations are required to be limited to 15 minutes (including 3 minutes for questions and discussion) if not otherwise decided by the chair of the session.

Plenary lectures will be of 60 minutes (45 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes for questions).

Keynote lectures will be limited to 30 minutes (25 minutes for presentation and 5 for questions/ discussion).

All speakers are required to deliver their PowerPoint file via pen drive to the slide points located near the registration desks one day prior to their scheduled presentation. If your presentation includes video the required file type is .avi. A technician will transfer the file directly onto the computer in the designated lecture room.

Please, be advised that the default system for presentations only supports Microsoft Windows version of PowerPoint.

Poster guidelines

Posters should be in ‘portrait’ format, 70 cm x 100 cm maximum size.

Presenting authors are asked to be in attendance at their posters for the designated Poster Sessions. Posters will be numbered as indicated in the Programme Booklet and a corresponding numbered poster board will be available for attaching your presentation at the appropriate time in the display area. Please note that the display time of the posters will be divided in two groups during the Confecence, as determined by the number assigned to your presentation.

Poster Session 1 (authors present Tuesday, July 17th, 18:00 to 19:30) includes posters with numbers from 1 to 119 (included), which can be mounted starting from Sunday after registration and displayed until Wednesday July 17th at 9:00. Posters must be removed within this time. Any remaining posters will be removed by the organizers and discarded.

Poster Session 2 (authors present Thursday, July 19th , 18:00 to 19:30) includes posters with numbers greater than 119, which can be mounted starting from Wednesday July 17th at 11:30 and displayed until Friday July, 20th at 16:30.  

The posters should be stuck to the poster board with the provided material.
