Call for Workshops

Euro-Par 2010 will feature a series of satellite workshops on August 30th and 31st, 2010.

Proposals for workshops, covering a specific theme and lasting between half a day and a full day, are encouraged and solicited until March 1st, 2010.

A special workshop volume will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) . The principal coordinator of each workshop will appear as editor of the workshop volume.

Workshop Proposal Guidelines

1. Workshop title
2. Information on the organizers, including a short biograpfy of each organizer and 
         the tentative program committee
3. Description of the workshop including its objectives, its contents and its format,
         indicating a preference for the lenght of the workshop (half a day or a full day)
4. Potential attendees
5. Potential authors

Responsibilities Workshop Organizers

1. Preparing the call for papers for the workshop and publicizing it
2. Maintaining the workshop website
3. Selecting the workshop program committees
4. Selecting the papers through a rigourous peer review process
5. Delivering the final workshop program to the Euo-Par 2010 Conference Chairs in
         time
6. Delivering preliminary workshop proceedings in time before the conference
7. Delivering the final workshop proceedings with revised version of the papers in 
         time after the conference in the required Springer format and writing an
         introductory preface to the workshop
8. Reporting to the Euro-Par Steering Committee after the conference
